About the role
A Community Manager will be responsible for cultivating a supportive and engaged community of donors, supporters, KOL, beneficiaries, and volunteers. This role involves cultivating campaigns to inspire contributions, managing online communities, organizing events, and responding to community inquiries with empathy and care.
Job Description
1. Build and maintain relationships with donors, beneficiaries, and volunteers.
2. Respond to inquiries, concerns, and feedback from the community in a timely and empathetic manner.
3. Organize and promote online and offline events that engage the community and inspire donations.
4. Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement campaigns
5. Work closely with the marketing & campaign teams to ensure a seamless community experience.
6. Grow the community base and retaining current community members by nurturing relationships and ensuring continued engagement through meaningful interactions
Requirements
1. 2-3 years of experience in community management, social media management, or a related role, preferably within the humanitarian / nonprofit sector.
2. Experience in managing online & volunteering communities and fostering engagement across various platforms (social media, forums, etc.).
3. Proven track record of creating and executing successful community engagement campaigns (offline and online)
4. Familiarity with crowdfunding platforms and an understanding of fundraising and donor engagement strategies.
5. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, occasionally handling work outside of regular business hours.
